The Prenatal/Newborn Sleep Seminar
Believe it or not, many aspects of newborn parenting are controversial. Some common recommendations may not be based on solid research. Newborn infants can learn to be good sleepers - early, gradually, gently - right from the start.
Join Kitty for an interesting, one-evening presentation that covers the politics of new parenting and and the introduction of self-calming skills for your baby.
Expectant parents should plan to attend this prenatal sleep program before their baby's due date, but newborn babies - grandparents too - are welcome to attend.

MAP Whether you choose telephone coaching or to attend the seminar, you will learn about sleep regulation and pediatric disorders of sleep such as inabiity to initiate sleep, inability to maintain sleep, and sleep crutches. Kitty will discuss theories of Marc Weissbluth and Richard Ferber. Parents will leave empowered to select the sleep learning method that fits best for their family.
Kitty bases all her seminars on pediatric research and brings to light exactly what is meant by a pediatric sleep disorder and how to avoid the risk of sleep deprivation for your entire family.
Grandparents are welcome to attend. Newborn babies may come if two adults are present (one to walk around while other parent listens.
